2.0-litre MX-5 is much quicker. It packs 184hp and feels more urgent than the 1.5. It's certainly a lot quicker, cracking the 0-62mph sprint in just 6.5 seconds, rather than the 8.3 seconds the 1.5 takes. Before 2018, the 2.0 engine made do with 160hp and fewer revs.16 Sept 2022
